My Gardening Roots

My passion for gardens and everything about it probably started in the 90’s. My real first memory of flowers was when I took up folk art painting in my 20’s. I loved to paint flowers and then after I had my 2 boys I started to garden — it became my happy place, a place that energized me.

I loved the spring, cleaning up the gardens after our long winter and seeing plants emerging from the ground. Getting my hands in the dirt grounded me (no pun intended). The summer brought lazy days enjoying beautiful flowers.  I love the smells, the colours, different shades of green and sunlight.🌞

Zinnias come in bright colours and help attract butterflies and honey bees.

I want to share my passion with you. Garden Inspired are two words that keep going through my mind, words that I want to put my feelings into, everything that I continue to learn and experience: my love of everything about gardens!

Please feel free to share these posts with your friends.
